Selected work
Tenn — Mahjong Result Tracker
A personal iOS product that keeps score entry as immediate as a spreadsheet while turning three- and four-player mahjong results into lasting player records. Designed and built end to end, including search, image sharing, and JSON backup.

AI Contract Review — LegalTech SaaS
Joined as a front-end engineer, then moved into product design and PdM. Now leading requirements, Figma design, and design system operations (Raw → Semantic Tokens, Figma libraries, Dev Mode).
CRM Tool — B2B SaaS
Owned spec, UI design, and front-end. After release, shifted into requirements definition and engineering team management for the growth phase.
VAN — Onsen Bar Hotel Site
Led design, build, and SEO for Kusatsu Onsen VAN, a bar hotel with private onsen suites. Figma UI design, Next.js multilingual implementation (JP / EN), and Semrush + Lighthouse optimization. Maintained through 2025.

Major Streaming Service — UX Engineering
UX design and front-end work on a large-scale video streaming service, operating in an English-as-official-language environment.
Global Automotive Group — Landing pages
Designed and shipped campaign landing pages for a global automotive group’s Japan site, across multiple sub-brands. Expressed each brand’s tone through layout and template choices on a shared design system, working client-facing with an international engineering team in English.
About
I’m a product designer with an engineering background, based in Tokyo. I work across product strategy, UX, and design systems — currently leading product design for an AI contract review SaaS in LegalTech, owning requirements, Figma design, and design system operations.
Years of front-end engineering shape how I design — at the granularity of components, states, and tokens — so my Figma work translates cleanly into shippable code. I bring that literacy to design system architecture and to the design ↔ engineering conversation as a bridge, not a translator.
I studied web design in Vancouver, led an English-speaking team alongside Israeli engineers, and continue to learn German. I integrate Claude Code and other generative AI tooling into my design workflow to accelerate the design → prototype → validate loop.

something real.
Open to product design and PdM roles, especially where engineering literacy and design-system thinking move the needle. English & Japanese, German in progress.
