Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

Player names and game data are stored on your iPhone. They are not sent to a server operated by the developer.

How should I prepare for a new phone or reinstall?

From the menu in the top-right corner of the Records screen, select “Export all data” and save the JSON backup somewhere safe. Select “Import data” when you need to restore it.

Can I move from the TestFlight version to the App Store version?

Install the App Store version without deleting Tenn. We recommend saving a JSON backup before moving to the App Store version.

Will importing the same backup more than once create duplicates?

Players and sheets with the same IDs are updated, so importing the same backup again does not create duplicates. Other data that exists only on the device remains unchanged.

Does deleting a player remove them from past sheets?

No. The name remains in past sheets to preserve the historical record. Delete the corresponding sheets as well if you need to remove the name completely.

Can Tenn be used for betting or payments?

No. Tenn is a result-recording tool and does not provide betting, money transfer, prize, or payment features.

Before contacting support

If you send an image or backup containing real names or game results, confirm that it is necessary for support and remove any information that is not required.

For details about data handling, see the Tenn Privacy Policy.
